We serve the hobbyist community with specialized hardware and digital content. Because of the nature of these products, we do not accept returns for change of mind or "buyer's remorse." However, we understand things happen. Please contact us to discuss.
1. Digital Products (xLights Sequences)
Due to the nature of digital files, all xLights sequences are non-refundable.

- Accessing Your Files: You will receive a download link on the Order Confirmation page and via email once your order is complete.
If you choose to create a customer account, your sequences will also be stored there for easy access to re-download in the future. - Waiver of Return: By purchasing, you agree to receive immediate access to the digital content and waive your right to a refund once the download has been made available to you.
- Support: If you find a technical error in a file, please contact us for assistance.
2. Physical Hardware (Kits & Assembled Boards)
We stand behind our gear. We only accept returns for an item that arrives with a manufacturing defect.

- DIY Kits: Returns are not accepted once the component bags are opened or soldering has begun.
- Assembled Units: If an assembled board is non-functional, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
- Troubleshooting First: Many "defects" are wiring or configuration errors. We provide technical support to help get your project running before initiating a return
3. International Warranty Claims
- Hardware: While we will replace a confirmed defective board, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs to return the unit and to ship the replacement.
- Non-Refundable Costs: We cannot refund international shipping fees or any duties/VAT paid to your local government.
4. Refused Packages
If a physical package is returned to us because of unpaid customs fees or an incorrect address, any refund issued will be minus the original shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee.
